You can self-exclude in Iowa for 5 years or for a Lifetime.
You may be cited for criminal trespassing if you are found to be visiting a gambling establishment during your sefl-exclusion term.
Besides using NVSEP, you can also apply for self-exclusion by mail, in person at the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission office, in person at the Iowa Gambling Treatment Program agency, or in person at any Iowa-licensed casino or racetrack.
Removal from the list is not automatic.
At the end of the term, you will need to request removal from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
